On January 13th, 2012, theconference of summing-up the first Semester and deploying the plan for second semester of the school year 2011-2012 was held by TVU Youth Union with the attendance of Mr. Le Van Don- Party Deputy Secretary, Vice Rector of TVU, Mr. Vo Hoang Khai- Vice Rector of TVU, Mr. Lam Huu Phuc- Member of Tra Vinh provincial Youth Union, Mr. Nguyen Phi Cong- Secretary of TVU Youth Union, some representatives of Tra Vinh departments, secretaries of TVU Youth Union branches and representatives of Student Association.
The attendants were reported about the student and youth movements in the first semester of academic year 2011-2012 by Mr. Phan Huu Phuc- Deputy secretary of TVU Youth Union and Mr. Pham Quoc Khanh- Deputy Head of TVU Student Association. In the reports, many highlighted activities of TVU students were mentioned such as voluntary blood donation campaign, summer voluntary campaign, contributing to build Truong Sa islands, building houses for needy youth members etc.
At the Conference, members of TVU Youth union branches discussed and pointed out the shortcomings and proposed the new methods to organize and to solve the problems to promote the student movement of TVU.
In his speech at the conference, Mr. Lam Huu Phuc praised the achievements of TVU Youth Union and Student Association and suggested the Executive Committee of TVU Youth Union and Student Union to promote their achievements and to innovate the content and forms of oeperating, improve the quality of activities in accordance with new tasks in the integrating period.
