II. DETAILS OF ADMISSION
2.1 Admission Method: Assessment selection
The Admissions Council evaluates the application profiles of candidates based on:
The appropriate undergraduate program related to the chosen field of study.
Academic performance at the undergraduate level.
Foreign language proficiency (as required by the chosen program).
Priority level as stipulated.

2.2 Eligibility for Application: Candidates must have good health for studying, not be subject to disciplinary actions beyond a warning level, and not be serving a criminal sentence.

2.2.1 Educational Qualification
Candidates need to meet one of the following conditions:
a. Have graduated from a university or meet the conditions for university graduation recognition (or have equivalent qualifications) in a field relevant to the chosen field of study for the master’s degree program.
b. Have graduated from a university or meet the conditions for university graduation recognition (or have equivalent qualifications) in fields not directly related to the chosen field of study for the master’s degree program. Candidates must have completed additional prerequisite courses before applying according to the admission and training regulations of the University. (Appendix: List of Relevant Fields)

2.2.2 Language Requirement
Candidates for admission must meet one of the following language requirements:
a. A bachelor’s degree or higher in a foreign language field; or a bachelor’s degree or higher program primarily conducted in a foreign language.
b. A bachelor’s degree or higher awarded by Tra Vinh University within a maximum of 02 years, meeting the language requirements at Level 3 or above according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam.
c. One of the foreign language degrees or certificates at Level 3 or above according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam or equivalent certificates announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, valid until the registration date.
d. For international candidates applying for programs taught in Vietnamese, they must achieve at least Level 4 in Vietnamese language proficiency according to the 6-level Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for foreigners or have completed a bachelor’s degree (or higher) program taught in Vietnamese and meet the requirement for a second foreign language as stipulated by the training institution (if applicable).
e. For candidates without evidence of foreign language proficiency according to the above conditions, candidates will participate in a foreign language proficiency assessment at Level 3/6 organized by the University before the selection process.

2.3 Training Method, Duration, and Location

  • Training Method: Regular Education
  • Training Duration: From 01 to 02 years.
  • Training Location: Tra Vinh University.

2.4 Priority Applicants

  • Individuals who have continuously worked for more than 02 years (as of the application submission deadline) in locations designated as Area 1 according to the current regulations for undergraduate and college admissions. In this case, applicants must have a decision to accept or be assigned work or specialized duties from the authorized agency or organization.
  • Children of martyrs; war invalids; individuals benefiting from policies such as war invalids; armed forces heroes; labor heroes; children of individuals who participated in the resistance war and were exposed to toxic chemicals and recognized by the provincial people’s committee to be deformed, disabled, or have reduced self-reliance abilities in daily life and learning due to the consequences of toxic chemicals;
  • Ethnic minorities with permanent residency for more than 02 years in locations designated as Area 1 according to the current regulations for undergraduate and college admissions.

2.5 Application Documents and Registration Method 2.5.1 Application Documents (1) Application form for master’s degree program admission; (2) Curriculum vitae; (3) Supplementary knowledge registration form (if applicable); (4) Exemption application form for supplementary knowledge courses (if applicable); (5) Notarized copies of various documents:

  • Bachelor’s degree certificate and transcript;
  • Language proficiency certificate (if available) valid for 02 years from the date of issuance until the application deadline;
  • National ID card or birth certificate;
  • Documentary evidence of priority status (if applicable);
  • Health certificate issued by a qualified medical facility within the last 6 months;
  • Envelope with affixed stamp and applicant’s contact address;
  • 03 photos (4×6 cm) taken within the last 6 months (with full name and date of birth written on the back).

2.5.2 Registration Method

Online: https://tuyensinhsdh.tvu.edu.vn
In-person: at the Postgraduate Training Office or by mail: Postgraduate Training Office (A11.101), Tra Vinh University.
Applicants registering online must submit their application directly to the Postgraduate Training Office by the application submission deadline.

2.6 Application Submission Deadline, Supplementary Knowledge Registration, Language Proficiency Assessment, and Admission Review Schedule (anticipated):

  • Application submission: From the announcement date to April 14, 2023;
  • For applicants graduating from non-matching fields: Supplementary knowledge registration and language proficiency review: From the announcement date to March 17, 2023;
  • Language proficiency assessment (anticipated): April 13-14, 2023;
  • Admission review schedule (anticipated): April 26-28, 2023;
  • Results announcement: Posted on the university’s website.

2.7 Application and Supplementary Knowledge Fees

  • Application fee: 300,000 VND/application;
  • Supplementary knowledge review and language proficiency assessment fee: 3,250,000 VND;
  • Supplementary knowledge course fee: 1,200,000 VND/course. Applicants pay the fees at the Planning and Finance Office, Tra Vinh University.
