Vietnam Book Day, Book-Knowledge connects with the community

On the morning of April 7, 2021, at TVU Learning Resources Center, Tra Vinh University holds the 8th Vietnam Book Day in response to World Book and Copyright Day with many meaningful activities.

 

At the 8th Vietnam Book Day opening ceremony, Ph.D. Vo Hoang Khai, TVU Vice-Rector, said “The 8th Vietnam Book Day at TVU aims to bring all readers joy, create the best conditions for readers to improve their knowledge to serve for work, study and research.”

Pham Huynh Nhi, a student, said: “TVU Learning Resources Center is the ideal place to study and research. What I love the most is not being interrupted when doing homework because we can stay 24/24 hours without limitation on closing time, and there is a cool and friendly study space.”

On this occasion, TVU Learning Resource Center also awards six students with the highest frequency of studying and researching at the Center and offers lovely souvenirs to readers visiting this event.

The Exhibition has displayed more than 1,000 domestic and international books, magazines, theses. At the same time, the Center also guides the skills of searching and selecting documents on the website system of the Learning Resources Center.

    

Reading is always an indispensable need in human social life, in the process of human civilization because reading books gives us knowledge, understanding, and general knowledge of all aspects of life. Reading also helps people have more life experiences in production, working, studying, and cultivate their thoughts and feelings, aesthetics.

The Vietnam Book Day contributes to nurture, maintain, develop, and honor the reading culture in Vietnam over the past years.
