Vietnam – Cambodia – Philippines – Korea cultural exchange

(TVU) – Tra Vinh University hosts on the evening of October 23 the cultural exchange program among Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Korea at Hall E21.105; the event features several unique performances and draws a sizable crowd of lecturers, students, and international volunteers.

Attending the ceremony are Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Huong, Standing Member and Head of the Department of School-aged Youth and Children Affairs of the Tra Vinh Provincial Youth Union; Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Standing Member of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University; along with representatives of other departments, schools, and leaders of the Youth Union – Student Association of Tra Vinh University.

Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Standing Member of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of the university, states in her speech that the goal of this international cultural exchange program is to create a connected, dynamic, and creative learning environment for students to study and engage with a variety of cultures, broaden their network of international relationships, and advance their proficiency in a foreign language.

Throughout the program, TVU students and foreign volunteers perform singing, dancing, and traditional musical instrument performances to promote the culture, patriotism, and development of each nation. This helps to strengthen ties and foster overall cooperation between Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Korea.

Danh Quoc An, a student from the English Linguistics class of 2023, says that the program gives him and other students at Tra Vinh University the chance to learn from and share with international friends about people, cultures, and their own countries.
