On November 6, 2020, at Tra Vinh University, the Faculty of Economics and Laws coordinating with the Representative of the Office of the State Securities Commission in Ho Chi Minh City held a seminar on Securities Investment Funds to support students to learn, research and supplement necessary knowledge about securities. 
The workshop has representatives of the Office of the State Securities Commission (SSC), representatives of VinaCapital Management Company (VCFM), TVU leaders, lecturers, and more than 100 students.
The seminar provided students with useful information about securities investment funds, domestic and international open-ended funds, VinaCapital open-ended funds, and the benefits of investing in open-ended funds as well as investment laws through funds.
At the seminar, TVU Vice-Rector, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa said: “There are many rich people from stocks, also many poor people because of it. Therefore, students need to learn carefully to have a solid knowledge block before participating in this field.”
Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Deputy Chief Representative of the SSC said: “To avoid the risks in the stock market, we provide an investment tool that can meet the majority of The challenge of the stock market is open-ended funds.
After the seminar, a student from the Faculty of Economics and Laws – Tran Minh Nam said the workshop is useful for students. This is not only about securities but also mentioned other aspects as job opportunities to help students have a more specific view of the job after graduation.
