TVU – On the morning of February 18, 2023, Tra Vinh University cooperated with the Management Board of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Project in Tra Vinh Province (Tra Vinh SME Project) to organize a workshop with the theme “0 VND Start-up” for start-ups in Tra Vinh province.

Attending the seminar were Ms. Nông Thị Mỹ Duyên, Head of the Business Administration Department of Dong Thap Community College, Mr. Đỗ Đăng Khoa – Deputy Director of Thao Minh Private Enterprise, Mr. Ngô Đình Khải – Sales Director of CKC Vietnam Production & Trading Co., Ltd.  On the side of Tra Vinh University, there was Mr. Nguyễn Văn Vũ An – Director of Tra Vinh Business Incubator, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Mr. Nguyễn Văn Vũ An – Director of Business Incubators, Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Tra Vinh province shared: “Many people still think that it takes a lot of money to start a business, but we can still do business with no or very little capital.”  Among students, “capital” is only encapsulated in funding without paying attention to and using other factors, that is, we use our capital sources: Knowledge, time, and relationship. These factors are built while studying and participating in workshops on topics on entrepreneurship, business investment, etc.

The workshop tells stories and experiences from the failures of starting a business from experts. The forum also provides opportunities for students to become collaborators, and interns, foster, and train at enterprises. Students presented their start-up ideas so that experts could be able to assess the feasibility, suggest directions, and implement the ideas.
