(TVU) – On December 21, 2023, Tra Vinh University collaborates with Yakult Vietnam Company to provide job consultation for university students.
Representing Yakult Vietnam Company are Ms. Quach Thi Thu Suong, General Director of Yakult Vietnam Company in Can Tho City; Ms. Nguyen Thi My Huyen, Head of Communications and Science Department; Ms. Huynh Thi Minh Thu, in charge of the Communications and Science; and Mr. Phan Tan Thanh, Manager of Yakult store in Tra Vinh.
Welcoming the delegation are Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Vice Dean of the School of Agriculture and Aquaculture; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tham, Director of the Post-harvest Technology Center; lecturers of the School of Agriculture and Aquaculture; and undergraduate students majoring in Food Technology, Biotechnology, and Veterinary Medicine.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Vice Dean of the School of Agriculture and Aquaculture, thanks Yakult Vietnam Company for providing job consultation and exchange with Tra Vinh University’s students. In the future, the university hopes to continue the cooperative relationship with the company, creating opportunities for students to do internships and experience the working environment at the company.
On this occasion, Ms. Huynh Thi Minh Thu introduces the company’s history, operations, policies, working environment, regulations, recruitment procedures, job positions and requirements for candidates. She hopes the company will recruit excellent students from Tra Vinh University in the future.
At the event, lecturers and students are guided to take a virtual tour of Yakult Vietnam factory, learning about Yakult fermented milk drink production process. They are also provided with knowledge about Probiotics and Yakult’s health benefits. Besides, students exchange ideas and receive job consultation and application guidance for positions at Yakult Vietnam.
Lam Ngoc Chau, a 2021 Food Technology student, shares: “The job consultation program provided by Yakult gives me useful information about the job market, career opportunities, and job requirements in the manufacturing industry. It helps me identify specific goals and prepare plans for my future career.”
