On July 23 and 24, 2022, the Youth Union – Student Association of Tra Vinh University carried out activities in response to the 2022 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.
During 2 days, the TVU unit cooperated with the Youth Union of Ward 5 to organize activities including cleaning the roads and supporting the propaganda on environmental protection and social evil prevention to households in Ward 5. On July 24, which is the peak of Volunteer Saturday and Green Sunday, volunteer soldiers participating in the non-permanent Green Summer Campaign performed in cleaning the student dormitory and around the campus to create a green – clean – beautiful space, contributing to protecting the environment.
Within 2 days, more than 500 volunteers of the TVU Youth Union – Student Association supported and participated in the tasks both inside and outside the university. Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyet Cam from HCYU chapter DA21CTX, commented, “During the campaign, I personally felt that environmental protection is our common responsibility, and at the same time, I have trained the necessary skills by participating in the 2022 non-permanent Green Summer Campaign.”
With the enthusiasm and dedication of youth, Youth Union members and students of Tra Vinh University never stop studying and enlightening the flame of aspiration to serve the country, the people, and to defend the socialist fatherland.
