Training objectives
The Artificial Intelligence program trains and provides a highly skilled workforce for society. The program’s foundation is built on innovation, scientific research, technology development, and practical application, all closely linked to the needs of the community and the creation of new value. We equip students with foundational knowledge in mathematics, natural and social sciences, and in-depth knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence. The program also develops soft skills, autonomy, responsibility, professional ethics, and a spirit of lifelong learning. Graduates have the professional skills to meet the demands of the Industry 4.0 revolution, work effectively in organizations that use AI, make positive contributions to society, and lead teams.
Program duration
Students earn a Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence in 4 years. The program consists of 8 semesters and requires 152 credits to complete.
Applicants
We welcome applicants from within Vietnam and from other countries. The admission process follows the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Tra Vinh University.

Learning outcomes
Knowledge
Graduates can apply fundamental knowledge from the natural sciences, social sciences, political science, and law to solve problems related to the field of Artificial Intelligence. They can also combine their specialized knowledge to address various complex issues in AI.
Skills
Graduates can analyze complex computing problems and apply principles of artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, and other relevant knowledge to identify solutions. They can design, install, implement, and evaluate computer-based AI solutions to meet real-world requirements. Students learn to systematically select, develop, and integrate AI solutions to achieve user goals. The program develops strong English skills for writing, reading, and communication. Graduates can also communicate effectively in professional contexts and work well in teams, both as members and as leaders.

Career opportunities
After graduating, engineers in Artificial Intelligence have diverse job opportunities. They can work as AI application developers or automation and robotics engineers. They can become research specialists in AI, data engineers, or business analysts at technology companies, startups, research institutes, telecommunication firms, and manufacturing enterprises. Graduates can also teach and conduct research at universities, colleges, and institutes in Vietnam or abroad. Furthermore, they have the potential to become entrepreneurs, leading businesses that specialize in IT solutions and data analytics.
Costgraduate opportunities
Graduates of the Artificial Intelligence program are qualified to advance their education. They can participate in short-term and specialized training courses in Computer Science and Information Technology in Vietnam and abroad. They can also pursue a second bachelor’s degree in another field. Furthermore, graduates are eligible to enroll in Master’s and PhD programs in Computer Science and related disciplines at universities nationally and internationally.
