TVU – The Trade Union of Tra Vinh University on January 9, 2024, organizes the “Trade Union Shelter” handover ceremony for union member Tran Thi Thuy An in Hung My Commune, Chau Thanh District.
A total of 170 million VND was spent on building the house; 50 million VND came from the “Trade Union Shelter Fund” of the Tra Vinh Provincial Labor Federation.

According to Mr. Nguyen Nhat Thanh, Chairman of the Trade Union of Tra Vinh University, the “Trade Union Shelter” program is one of the most important and useful initiatives that fosters community solidarity. The university’s Trade Union aided three union members who were facing challenging living conditions in 2023. Additionally, he hopes that the program will keep going to assist even more union members who are experiencing challenging housing problems to lessen some of their burdens.
Ms. Tran Thi Thuy An expresses her gratitude to the Labor Confederation of Tra Vinh Province, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and the Trade Union of Tra Vinh University for their consideration and assistance in enhancing her family’s living circumstances. She also makes a commitment to devote her best to accomplish her responsibilities at work.
