TVU – The Organizing Committee of Tra Vinh University’s 2nd Science and Technology Research Ideas Competition announces that 40 projects have been selected for the final round, scheduled for October 27, 2024.
In the preliminary round, 84 candidates from 21 high schools across multiple provinces submitted 44 research topics. The Organizing Committee evaluated these entries through poster presentations, selecting the most promising projects to advance.
The finalists represent a diverse geographical spread:
- 12 projects from Tra Vinh
- 9 projects each from Soc Trang and Ben Tre
- 5 projects from Dong Thap
- 3 projects from Vinh Long
- 2 projects from Hau Giang
Finalists must submit their completed research explanations and posters to the Organizing Committee by September 30, 2024, to participate in the final round.
Launched in 2023, this competition aims to create an engaging platform for high school students in the Mekong Delta provinces. It encourages research, creativity, problem-solving, and the application of science to real-world issues.
The competition focuses on several key areas:
- Chemistry
- Materials Science
- Environmental Engineering
- Agriculture and Aquaculture
- Software Systems
- Robotics and Smart Machines
- Health Sciences
Participants must submit digital copies of their research explanations and posters to ytkhkt@tvu.edu.vn, with the email subject line following the format: “VCK KHKT2024 – school name, province”.
Physical copies should be sent to Ms. Le Thi Thu Ha – School of Applied Chemistry, Tra Vinh University No. 126 Nguyen Thien Thanh, Hamlet 4, Ward 5 Tra Vinh City, Tra Vinh Province.
