TVU – On September 6, 2024, Tra Vinh University holds an opening ceremony for the Vietnamese Preparatory Class, welcoming 25 Cambodian students admitted for the first term of the 2024-2025 academic year.

The event is attended by distinguished guests, including Dr. Kuch Sitha, Director of the Svay Rieng Provincial Health Department, representatives from several high schools in Svay Rieng, and partners supporting enrollment in Cambodia. The 25 international students and their families are also present for this significant occasion.
Representing Tra Vinh University are Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice-Rector; Dr. Huynh My Phuong, Head of the Preparatory University; and representatives from various TVU departments, including Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, International Cooperation, and the International Admissions Board.

Dr. Thach Thi Dan congratulates the 25 Cambodian students on their admission in her opening address. She highlights the successful cooperation between TVU and the Svay Rieng Provincial Health Department, as well as the broader support from the Svay Rieng Provincial Government. Dr. Dan emphasizes TVU’s commitment to providing favorable conditions for students during their one-year Vietnamese Preparatory Program, which precedes their chosen training programs. She encourages the students to strive for excellence in their studies, intending to return to serve their homeland upon completing their education.
