On the afternoon of July 12, 2025, Tra Vinh University collaborates with Vilaco Group and experts to organize a specialized workshop on “Job interview skills and professional work performance,” equipping students with essential skills that serve as important foundations for their future career development.
The workshop features experts including Dr. Huynh Anh Binh – speaker, psychology expert, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Career Guidance Center; Master Huynh Ngoc Khoan – Deputy General Director of Vilaco Group; and Mr. Truong Quan Duc – professional and external relations officer at Vilaco Group. From Tra Vinh University, Dr. Thach Thi Dan – Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, Mr. Nguyen Phi Cong – Director of Employment Services Center at Tra Vinh University, Mr. Phan Huu Phuc – Deputy Director of Employment Services Center at Tra Vinh University, along with faculty members from various university units and over 150 students from different faculties and colleges participate.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Thach Thi Dan – Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University shares: “Tra Vinh University, with its motto of bringing quality learning opportunities to the community, always hopes that when students graduate, they will have communication skills, job application abilities, and problem-solving capabilities. The specialized program includes four main topics: Topic 1: “Skills for handling interview situations and salary negotiation” presented by psychology expert Dr. Huynh Anh Binh, providing methods to help students understand how to answer difficult questions, handle unexpected situations, and negotiate appropriate salaries matching their abilities when applying for jobs. Topic 2: “Professional work style and attitude” helps students build a polished, professional image from the early steps of their careers. Topic 3: “Opportunities to access high-paying jobs – From the recruiter’s perspective” – presented by Master Huynh Ngoc Khoan, offers realistic insights into recruitment needs, candidate selection criteria, and ways to enhance personal value in the labor market. Topic 4: “CV writing guidance and practice” helps students master methods for building outstanding CVs suitable for each applied position.

The workshop takes place dynamically, attracting enthusiastic interest and participation from many students. The program provides knowledge and creates opportunities for students to directly interact with experts, addressing questions related to interviews, job searching, and career development.

Through this specialized workshop, students at Tra Vinh University enhance their soft skills, confidence and better prepare for future labor market integration.
