This marks the first time a university-based business incubator in the Mekong Delta achieves such results. Although the total investment remains modest, it demonstrates TVU’s right direction in developing an innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Rector of Tra Vinh University, says that transforming ideas into investor-backed projects is a challenging journey. He affirms that all innovation and entrepreneurship activities at TVU aim toward forming real businesses and attracting investment. “This is a positive signal,” he emphasizes, “TVU reaches another milestone. If the university continues to strengthen the initial stages, the success of startups through TVU’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem is within reach.”

One project receives 100 cattle as assets, and one founder sells his business for VND 1.3 billion while keeping a minority share and management.
