On October 17, 2025, Vinh Long Business Incubator, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology of Tay Ninh province, organized the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Creative Startup Incubation Program. The event marked the start of the incubation journey from October 17 to November 28, 2025. Additionally, it acknowledged the successful transfer and implementation of the Startup Academy Program from the Vinh Long Business Incubator to the Department of Science and Technology of Tay Ninh Province.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the leaders of units under the Department of Science and Technology of Tay Ninh province, including Mr. Vo Buu Viet Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department. On the side of Tra Vinh University, there was MSc. Nguyen Van Vu An, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Director of the Vinh Long Business Incubator.
At the opening ceremony, MSc. Nguyen Van Vu An introduced an overview of the program, including 20 intensive training sessions, focusing on practical content to help students solve specific problems in businesses such as: design thinking, team building and corporate culture, understanding customers, realizing business ideas, revenue models, brand and marketing strategies, negotiation skills, cash flow management, the art of fundraising, AI applications in management, as well as business risk management.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vo Buu Viet Cuong affirmed, “The 2025 Innovative Startup Incubation Program is a testament to Tay Ninh province’s determination to develop innovative resources. Hopefully, the program will serve as a lever to help local startups achieve a breakthrough in their thinking and business performance. The Department of Science and Technology of Tay Ninh province is committed to accompanying businesses throughout their acceleration journey.”
The program is designed not only as a course but also as a solution to accelerate business development, helping connect and promote interaction with the market through five core pillars: Accelerator, Mentoring, Branding, Demo Day, and Policy Approach.
Representing the students, Mr. Duong Quoc Viet, CEO of Viet Bim, shared his commitment to actively participating and to effectively applying the program’s knowledge in practice to business management and development.
The opening ceremony ended in an exciting atmosphere, marking the start of a promising incubation journey between Tra Vinh University – Vinh Long Business Incubator and the Department of Science and Technology of Tay Ninh province. The program is expected to help promote the province’s innovative startup ecosystem, helping businesses accelerate, develop sustainably, and conquer the market.
After the ceremony, the students began the first class with the topic “Design Thinking”, creating a crucial first step in the process of perfecting the business model and preparing for the Capital Calling Festival – Demo Day.
| The intensive training course “Startup Academy” is part of the startup acceleration program, designed to equip businesses, cooperatives, and startup projects with knowledge and practical skills. Within the framework of the program, students will be mentored 1:1 by successful entrepreneurs, attend the Investment Festival – Demo Day to seek capital-raising opportunities, connect with strategic partners, and expand the market. At the same time, the program also creates opportunities for businesses to access State support policies, contributing to the sustainable development of the local startup movement. |
