TVU partners with SHB to enhance student experience and develop finance–banking workforce

TVU – On the morning of April 16, TVU signs a memorandum of understanding with Sai Gon – Ha Noi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) Vinh Long Branch to enhance practical experience for students and develop high-quality human resources in the finance and banking sector.

Representing SHB are Mr. Lam Nguyen Duy Anh, Director of SHB Vinh Long Branch, Mr. Le Minh Tien, Head of Corporate Customer Department, Mr. Tran Quoc Thuan, Head of Individual Customer Department, along with members of the delegation. On the side of TVU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Director of TVU, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Vice Rector of College of Economics and Law (CEL), attend with leaders of affiliated units.

In his remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa expresses his appreciation for the partnership with SHB, noting that the cooperation helps students access real working environments in finance and banking. He emphasizes that both sides aim to implement the agreement in a spirit of collaboration toward sustainable development, creating a foundation for long-term joint activities.

Under the memorandum, SHB coordinates with TVU to organize career orientation training sessions, seminars, and professional talk shows for students. The bank also joins in advising and contributing to curriculum development, especially practice-oriented programs aligned with labor market demands.

The cooperation focuses on supporting internships, field visits, and job opportunities. SHB creates conditions for students to experience real working environments through internship programs, skills training, and career orientation activities at its branches. Both sides also coordinate communication activities to introduce SHB products and services to TVU staff and students. In addition, SHB designs preferential financial policies, including savings and loan products with competitive interest rates, to support lecturers and students in accessing suitable financial resources in line with regulations.

SHB commits to providing high-quality banking services to TVU and implementing scholarship and sponsorship programs based on its policies in each period, along with dedicated benefits for lecturers and students.

At the event, Mr. Lam Nguyen Duy Anh congratulates TVU on its transition to a university model under the national higher education system and expresses appreciation for the opportunity to accompany students in career orientation and digital financial service experience. On this occasion, SHB Vinh Long Branch presents a symbolic scholarship worth 20 million VND to support TVU students.
