TVU strengthens cooperation with Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu General Hospital in healthcare training and recruitment

TVU – On April 17, TVU hosts a delegation from Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu General Hospital to exchange ideas, orient cooperation, and coordinate activities in career counseling, internships, and recruitment in the healthcare sector.

The delegation from Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu General Hospital is led by Meritorious Physician. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director, together with representatives from the Human Resources Development Department. On the side of TVU, Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Deputy Director, Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Thu, Vice Rector of College of Medicine and Pharmacy (CMP), and representatives of relevant units and students attend the program.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Thach Thi Dan emphasizes that TVU prioritizes partnerships with hospitals and enterprises to improve training quality through linking theory with practice. She notes that cooperation with Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu General Hospital helps students access a professional working environment, supports career orientation, and enhances their ability to meet labor market demands after graduation.

Meritorious Physician. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy states that the hospital focuses on developing high-quality human resources, especially in specialized fields, and highly values the training capacity of TVU. She expresses expectations for stronger cooperation in training, internship placement, and recruitment aligned with the hospital’s development needs.

During the meeting, both sides present their development orientation and discuss cooperation in training, human resource development, and student employment. The discussion focuses on strengthening connections between training programs and practical requirements of the healthcare sector, while coordinating career orientation and recruitment activities for students and graduates.

   

According to the hospital’s 2026 workforce plan, Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu General Hospital seeks to recruit positions such as oral and maxillofacial surgeons, general practitioners with strengths in diagnostic imaging, general and specialized nurses, diagnostic imaging technicians, and rehabilitation and physical therapy technicians.

The program also includes direct counseling and recruitment orientation with the participation of 62 students from CMP. Mr. Nguyen Van Chi, Deputy Head of the Human Resources Development Department, introduces the working environment, recruitment policies, and career development pathways, and answers student questions related to job requirements and opportunities.

Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Thu evaluates the meeting positively and expresses expectation that both sides will soon sign a memorandum of understanding to implement practical and effective cooperation activities, further strengthening the partnership between TVU and Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu General Hospital.
