TVU – In the middle of April, TVU Rector Board sent their best wishes and gave meaningful gifts to their Cambodian and Khmer students on the occasion of Chol Chnam Thmay festival.
Chol Chnam Thmay is an important festival to Cambodian and Khmer people. This year, the traditional festival has been taking place in the Covid-19 outbreak time; therefore, the university has not celebrated warm parties as those in previous years. TVU leaders have come to wish and give practical presents to their Cambodian and Khmer students instead.
TVU and sponsors also donate living expenses and useful gifts worth over 45 million VND to 100 students staying at TVU dormitory. In addition, fully understanding students’ economic difficulties in this epidemic period, the Rector has decided to reduce 30 per cent of tuition fees to all TVU students.
