AI Applications in Teaching, Research, and Learning

TVU – Tra Vinh University’s College of Economics and Law (CEL) collaborated with AI Education JSC to organize on October 21 a seminar titled “Enhancing AI Application Capabilities in Teaching, Research, and Learning”, attracting a large number of lecturers, researchers, postgraduate students, and more than 400 students from the CEL.

Representing AI Education JSC were Mr. Truong Dang Khoa, Lecturer and Director of Digital Education, Public Administration Project Development, and Full Partner of Google for Education in Vietnam; and Mr. Tran Kieu Thuan, Deputy Director of Digital Education and Public Administration Projects at AI Education JSC.

Representing the CEL were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nguyen, Rector; M.A. Tai Le Khanh, Deputy Head of the School of Management; Dr. Ly Thi Be Luyen, Deputy Head of the School of Management; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thuy Loan, Head of the School of Logistics; M.A. Nguyen Van Tho, Chief of Office; M.A. Nguyen Thi Cam Anh, Deputy Chief of Office; M.A. Cao Thanh Tam, Chief of Office; and Dr. Bui Thanh Long, Deputy Head of the School of Finance—together with faculty members, postgraduate students, researchers, and many undergraduate students.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Nguyen Van Nguyen, Rector of CEL, emphasized the significance of artificial intelligence in the context of digital transformation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. He noted that integrating AI into teaching and learning not only enhances the effectiveness of education and training but also equips students with the essential skills needed to adapt to the future labor market.

 

The seminar continued with a keynote presentation by Mr. Truong Dang Khoa, who introduced a range of AI tools applied in education, such as tools for creating images and videos, supporting data analysis, and enhancing interactive learning. He also engaged in discussions and answered questions, analyzing the role of AI in helping teachers develop modern teaching methods and empowering learners to take a more active approach to knowledge acquisition.

On this occasion, Al Education JSC awarded 1,000 AI scholarships to students of the CEL, each valued at 49 USD. This meaningful gift contributes to helping students strengthen their technological capabilities and meet the growing demands of the labor market in the digital era.
