AUN – QA organization evaluates the Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory programs of Tra Vinh University

TVU – From May 23 to May 25, AUN – QA (ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance – Network of Southeast Asian Universities) officially assessed Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory training programs at Tra Vinh University.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Rector of the University, said that: “Tra Vinh University always strives to improve the quality of training, continuously and gradually integrate into the world in training, research, and especially in the activities to ensure the quality of education, meeting regional and international standards.”

“Regarding international accreditation, up to now, Tra Vinh University has 13 training programs that have achieved international quality accreditation by AUN – QA, FIBAA, and ABET organizations; notably, 5 programs meet AUN – QA accreditation standards. This international quality accreditation round is an important step on the road to international and regional integration on Tra Vinh University’s quality education,” the school principal confirmed.

According to the working plan, the assessment team reviewed evidence records, interviewed, and discussed with reporting groups, including faculty leaders and managers of training programs, lecturers, supporting staff, students, alumni, businesses, and employers; surveyed and evaluated the teaching-learning activities, practice, research and extra-curricular activities of the university; gathered delegation’s opinions and assessed the results at the closing session on May 25.
