(TVU) – On December 20, a national science forum “Biotechnology applications to sustainable agriculture and fishery production” took place at Tra Vinh University with the participation of 200 scientists, researchers, TVU lecturers and its students.
The seminar aims at extending cooperation in the field of biotechnology and environmental science to create favorable conditions for lecturers and students to learn from local scientists.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Hiep, Biotechnology Research and Development Institute (BiRDI), Can Tho University in his keynote speech said: “Application of microorganism in agriculture and fishery production is one of the optimal solutions. And governments play an important role in farmers’ safety when using it.”
Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, TVU Vice Rector sent his sincere thanks to the participants. “The forum is a golden opportunity for TVU lecturers and students to learn and share experience, expand cooperation in research projects”, said the Vice Rector.
