(TVU) – School of Southern Khmer Language – Culture – Arts and Humanities (Slaska) and the Tra Vinh Provincial Library work together to run a book exhibition from August 21 to 26, 2023, in honor of the 78th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Culture Sector (August 28, 1945 – August 28, 2023).
The Center for Cultural Studies of the Mekong Delta of Slaska hosts the exhibition with the subject “Culture makes all men gentle”, which features over 1000 books in a variety of categories, including language, art, culture, tourism, and hospitality.
Dr. Lieu Thanh Tam—Vice Rector of Slaska—signed an agreement of collaboration with the Tra Vinh Provincial Library during the event. In particular, Tra Vinh Provincial Library pledges to assist Slaska with its e-library and online reading modules, introducing and providing an online reading platform, and distributing library cards to students and lecturers so they may enjoy the services of the Library in accordance with its regulations.
On the Slaska side, the School is willing to assist in getting students to participate in cultural activities organized by the Provincial Library. Additionally, the two sides continue to research and work together towards linking and sharing information and data, especially electronic resources, making it easier for readers from the two sides to access the services jointly.
