Tra Vinh University hosted a multi-platform online business forum on April 13th. The forum, a collaboration between the university’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and the Tra Vinh Provincial Business Incubator, was titled “Conquering Multi-Platform Online Business – Hands-on with Livestream, TikTok, Facebook, and Affiliate Marketing.”
The event attracted a diverse audience including businesses and home-based businesses incubated at the Tra Vinh Provincial Business Incubator, and students from Tra Vinh University. It served as a networking opportunity for experts, businesses, cooperatives, home-based businesses, and online business enthusiasts.
Mr. Nguyen Van Vu An, Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Business Incubator, Director of Tra Vinh University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, and Standing Vice President of the Tra Vinh Provincial Startup Advisory Board, was a key speaker. He discussed the advantages of multi-channel selling, emphasizing increased product reach and customer access. He also acknowledged the challenges of a competitive online market.
Mr. An provided practical advice on selling via Facebook, TikTok, and affiliate marketing. For Facebook, he stressed consistent posting and professional content creation to build a strong following, increase engagement, and build brand trust. He also highlighted the importance of respectful group participation, focusing on sharing valuable information rather than excessive self-promotion. Identifying the target customer was identified as the crucial first step.
For TikTok, he advised participants on selecting appropriate products for video marketing and shared best practices for creating effective sales videos. Regarding affiliate marketing, he highlighted its ease of entry, flexibility, high earning potential, and opportunities for skill development, including personal branding and networking.
The forum included discussions on channel building, brand-building strategies, effective TikTok marketing, Facebook content creation, and livestreaming sales techniques. Participants gained practical knowledge and strategies to improve business performance, expand market reach, increase revenue, and build sustainable brands.
Finally, the event aimed to increase the visibility of the Tra Vinh Provincial Business Incubator within the local startup ecosystem.
