(TVU) – On February 2nd, 2024, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, the Consul General of India, along with the working delegation, works at Tra Vinh University to discuss potential collaboration in the fields of education and training, consultancy, scientific research, cultural exchange and promotion between the two countries. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Chairman of the University Council, and representatives from various departments of TVU warmly welcome the delegation.
Speaking at the working session, Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Chairman of the University Council, expresses his hope that the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City will continue to support and further promote the cooperative relationship between the two countries in the fields of education and training, consultancy, scientific research, cultural exchange and promotion.
Both sides continue to discuss and implement specific collaboration plans in the upcoming period, including student and staff/lecturer exchanges between Tra Vinh University and Indian institutes and universities; for short-term and long-term exchange scholarships for students and lecturers of the university to study in India; promoting cooperation and signing MoUs in education and training, consultancy, and research in mechanical engineering, information technology, healthcare, etc. They also plan to collaborate on organizing events and talk shows, especially the “India Day” cultural events at Tra Vinh University, either online or in person at the end of March or the beginning of April.
Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, the Consul General of India, highly appreciates the potential for collaboration between the university and Indian units and is ready to create the most favorable conditions to implement the discussed cooperative activities in the near future.
On this occasion, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi and his delegation visit the Tra Vinh University on Campus 1 and the “India Corner” at the Learning Resource and Development Center.
