(TVU) – On August 26, 2024, H.E. Wei Huaxiang, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City, and his delegation visit Tra Vinh University for a working session.
The delegation is welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Rector of Tra Vinh University; Associate Professor Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector, along with representatives from various departments and students.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa states that this visit allows both sides to learn about each other’s culture, education, and socio-economic conditions. He emphasizes that this mutual understanding will provide a strong impetus to strengthen long-term relationships across various fields. TVU hopes the Consulate General will serve as a bridge, helping Tra Vinh University connect with colleges, universities, and local authorities in China to develop cooperation in scientific research and training, especially in Chinese Linguistic programs.
H.E. Wei Huaxiang remarks that visiting Tra Vinh University provides both sides with more information and opens up numerous opportunities for future cooperation. He expresses hope that both parties will continue to explore and promote collaborative relationships in areas where they have strengths.
During the visit, H.E. Wei Huaxiang and his delegation also tour Tra Vinh University’s facilities.
