On August 5, 2022, Tra Vinh University welcomed the delegation of Okayama Business College (OBC) to exchange and cooperate to bring nursing students from the University to practice at Okayama Business College (OBC), Japan.
Attended the ceremony were Mr. Kajinami Akihide, Head of International Department – Okayama Business College (OBC), Japan as the head of the delegation; Mr. Trịnh Tắc Khải, International Department Specialist, Okayama Business College (OBC), Japan; Mr. Trịnh Lâm Khả Thành, Admission Manager of OBC School in Vietnam, Caitac – OBC; and Mr. Saito Osamu, Former Rector of OBC School, a present expert at Tra Vinh University.
Receiving the delegation were Ms. Thạch Thị Dân, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University; Dr. Huỳnh Mỹ Phượng, Director of Employment Service Center; Dr. Châu Thị Hoàng Hoa, Deputy Head of International Cooperation Department – Project Promotion; MSc. Tiêu Cẩm Anh; MSc. Phan Nguyễn Mai Thảo, Deputy Director of the Center for International Cooperation and Training; along with teachers and lecturers of the Nursing Department.
On this occasion, the two sides discussed the model, admission process, and nursing training at Tra Vinh University. At the same time, exchange and agree to review and adjust relevant programs to meet the requirements proposed by the two sides.
Ms. Thạch Thị Dân said that the school highly appreciates the training, facilities, and equipment of OBC. She believes that TVU students who come to OBC for professional internships will improve their skills and expand job opportunities after graduation.
Mr. Kajinami Akihide, Head of International Department – Okayama Business College (OBC), affirmed that OBC will support, advise and facilitate students of Tra Vinh University in Japan, teaching them Japanese and facilitating nursing graduates to find jobs in Japan.
After the exchange, the delegation visited the functional rooms of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy and Tra Vinh University Hospital.
