(TVU) – In the framework of the visit and working activities at Tra Vinh University, the delegation of Seojeong University (Korea) attends the cultural exchange program between Tra Vinh University and Seojeong University (SJU) at Hall E21,105 in the afternoon of June 27th.
The program sees the attendance of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice-Rector; leaders of the Department of Student Affairs; leaders of the School of Southern Khmer Language-Culture-Art and Humanities (SLASKA), School of Economics and Law (SEL), International Training Institute, King Sejong Institute of Korean Language and Culture – Tra Vinh (TV-KSI), and a large number of students from Tra Vinh University.
The program showcases vibrant performances representing the regional culture influenced by Vietnamese folk songs and Khmer Southern folklore by students from the School of Economics and Law and the School of Southern Khmer Language, Culture, Art, and Humanities. Additionally, students from Seojeong University and TV – KSI perform Korean cultural performances such as Korean dance (K-Pop) and traditional Korean songs.
Vo Khanh Huy, a student of English Language in 2022, expresses, “The cultural exchange program between Tra Vinh University and Seojeong University provides me with an opportunity to connect with friends and gain a better understanding of cultural diversity. I am very proud that Korean students are interested in Vietnamese culture. I hope the school will organize more useful and joyful cultural exchange activities like this.”
