In the afternoon of March 15th, 2012, Dr. Jane N. Labastina- Vice President of Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) and the delegation had a meeting with Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh – Rector of TVU and some related heads of offices and departments of TVU.
At the meeting, Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh showed consideration for the visit of Dr. Labastina and the delegation. He believed that the cooperation between the two universities would be developed more stably.
Dr. Labastina showed her gratitude to the reception from TVU and hoped that the bilateral cooperation in the fields such as technology exchange in aquaculture, the program of teaching English delivering the International certificate, the program for summer studying in the Philippines, lecturer and student exchange and receiving interns would be successful.
In the middle of May, 2012, the Center of International Cooperation in Education and Training, Faculty of Economics, Law & Foreign Languages and the Dormitory Board of Management of TVU have set up a plan for welcoming 20 students majoring in Restaurant- Hotel of SLSU coming to TVU to have their practicum and cultural exchange.
