The last week of November 2024 witnessed a series of exciting kick-off workshops launching the “Reduce-Reuse-Recycle Adolescents” (3R Adolescents) project, generously funded by the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI).

Hundreds of enthusiastic students and teachers from Phuong Thanh Secondary School, Dai Phuc Secondary School in Cang Long district, and TVU’s Laboratory School in Tra Vinh City, Tra Vinh Province, gathered for these vibrant events.

Students and teachers also learned about their crucial roles in the project’s success. From actively participating in workshops to becoming ambassadors for environmental change within their schools and communities, everyone felt empowered to contribute.

The workshops were met with tremendous enthusiasm. Students actively engaged in discussions, shared their ideas, and were eager to make a difference. Teachers also strongly supported the project, recognizing its importance in fostering environmental awareness among the younger generation.

This successful launch sets the stage for a year of impactful activities. The “Reduce-Reuse-Recycle Adolescents” project is poised to significantly contribute to environmental sustainability in the region, empowering young people to become champions of a greener future.
