Call for paper: International Scientific Conference CETS 2025 – Conference on Education and Training for Sustainability

1. General introduction

The International Scientific Conference CETS 2025 is co-organized by Tra Vinh University (Vietnam) and Southern Leyte State University (Philippines). The conference focuses on topics related to education and training aimed at achieving global sustainable development goals in line with the spirit of the United Nations.

The conference seeks to create a forum for educational administrators, experts, scientists, teachers, and students from local and international institutions to meet, exchange, and learn from international and local experiences in sustainable education and share new research in this field.

2. Objectives

The CETS 2025 conference aims to gather feedback and contributions from educational administrators, educators, and scientists on methods and frameworks for effective education and training in the digital age while addressing the need for sustainable development in society.

Specifically, the conference will focus on researching and applying technological advancements in teaching and learning, ensuring the quality of education and training, and meeting the diverse learning needs of individuals.

3. Conference content

The conference will focus on the following key issues:

  1. Summarizing achievements and challenges in education and training in Vietnam and worldwide.
  2. Sharing experiences in education and training from different countries.
  3. Investigating the current education and training situation in a global and Vietnamese context.
  4. Comparing educational processes applied in Vietnam with other countries to identify suitable solutions.
  5. Exploring the potential for collaboration between education and training programs in Vietnam and internationally, especially in promoting sustainable development in education.

4. Time and venue

  • Time: March 14, 2025 (Friday)
  • Venue: Tra Vinh University, 126 Nguyen Thien Thanh Street, Ward 5, Tra Vinh City, Tra Vinh Province, Vietnam.
  • Format: The conference will occur in person at Tra Vinh University and online via Google Meet/Zoom.

5. Participants

The conference is expected to have around 120 participants, including:

  • Representatives from education and training institutions, both local and international.
  • Leaders of units under Tra Vinh University.
  • Researchers, administrators, educators, and students from universities, research institutes, and educational organizations.
  • Authors presenting their research papers at the conference.

6. Organization

The organization of the conference involves various stages from planning, budgeting, forming the organizing committee, creating the conference website, inviting speakers, and securing sponsorship for publishing the conference proceedings.

7. Registration and paper submission

  • Deadline for abstract submission: September 30, 2024.
  • Deadline for full paper submission: December 31, 2024.
  • Presentation time for each paper: 10 minutes.

Selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings (with ISBN) and featured in prestigious international scientific journals.
