Faculty of Engineering and Technology of TVU welcomed the SINO-PACIFIC company coming to recruit students majoring in electricity

On February 11th, 2012, the SINO-PACIFIC construction consultancy company (SPCC) came to recruit some students majoring in electricity of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of TVU for their company.

SPCC is 100% foreign owned joint-venture company. SPCC has been responsible for many construction projects in Vietnam including Duyen Hai 1 Thermal Power plant located in Dan Thanh commune, Duyen Hai district, Tra Vinh province. SPCC has some vacancies for its expanding. This is a favorable employment opportunity for students majoring in technology and other majors such as economics, accountancy, foreign languages, etc. To prepare a workforce for its starting production in May 2012, introduced by Mr. Trinh Quoc Viet- lecturer of the faculty, SPCC gave its first interview on February 11, 2012.

The interview was also attended by Mr. Phan Quoc Nghia- Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, some other lecturers of the Faculty, 12 candidates and other students of the Faculty coming to get some job interview experience.

After the interview, SPCC has chosen five candidates and will officially sign the contract on February 15th, 2012. The selected candidates will start work in Duyen Hai Thermal Plant 1 after 3 months of working in HCM city to get the experience.

The representative of SPCC announced that there are still some other vacancies that SPCC still needs. The information for recruitment will be updated on TVU website.

On behalf of the Faculty, Mr. Phan Quoc Nghia expressed his gratitude to SPCC and hoped that SPCC would cooperate with TVU on employment recruitment. Also, he suggested the students to improve their knowledge and soft skills during the process studying at TVU to get better jobs.
