Four (04) training programs of Tra Vinh university accredited by FIBAA quality standards

On 22 November 2019, FIBAA has officially announced four study programs of Tra Vinh University which meet FIBAA quality standards including Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Banking and Finance.

It is considered to be an important step on the international education quality integration roadmap of Tra Vinh University because FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) is known as a non-profit organization for guaranteeing and developing higher education quality which operates worldwide in more than 48 countries. Currently, FIBAA certificate is one of the most prestigious and recognized certificates in the world.

Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Dean of Economics and Law Faculty said: “In order for the study programs to meet more than 50 criteria of FIBAA standards, the staffs of Faculty and other units of the university have developed training programs, quality objectives, and all resources serving for teaching, learning and researching to meet well the requirements. At the same time, the university organizes internal assessments for its programs objectively and prepares documents as well as specific data as required”.

The accreditation and assessment took place on May 30 and 31, 2019.  All members of the international accreditation team – FIBAA organized and assessed documents, directly interviewed stakeholders including learners, lecturers, staffs, service teams and businesses, saw a concrete demonstration, and did field testing of equipment, classrooms, practice rooms, on-campus experimental facilities, teaching and learning activities… 

The international accreditation team – FIBAA highly has appreciated the efforts of Tra Vinh University in its self-assessment and preparation that shows the university always tries and commits improving continuously its training quality, creating peace of mind for learners and employers.

“TVU is striving to step by step integrate international education quality through training and research activities, especially the activities to ensure education quality according to regional and international standards for training program and educational institution levels. In the coming time, the university will carry out ABET accreditation for engineering and technology sectors and remaining programs.” – Associate Professor Pham Tiet Khanh, Rector of Tra Vinh University confirmed.
