TVU – On June 24th, 2022, in celebration of the 55th anniversary of the start of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cambodia (June 24, 1967 – June 24, 2022), the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association in Tra Vinh province planned a visit and meeting with Cambodian students enrolled at Tra Vinh University.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Tra Vinh Provincial People’s Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thao, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, and Associate Professor Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University, all attended the meeting.
The diplomatic and cooperative ties between Vietnam and Cambodia have produced a number of results over the years under the leadership of the two nations, significantly enhancing political stability, the development of political economy and society, as well as the national security and defense of each nation. In the areas of politics, economy, culture, society, security and defense, as well as education and training, the diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Cambodia are deepening and becoming more effective.
The Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association in the province of Tra Vinh presented 38 gifts to the school’s Cambodian students on this special occasion.
