TVU –The Labor Confederation of Tra Vinh Province, along with the Party Committee, Board of Directors, and Grassroot Trade Union of Tra Vinh University on October 6, 2023 hand over the “Trade Union Shelter” to Ms. Thach Huynh Thi Thu Trang’s household.
Attending the handover ceremony are Mr. Nguyen Nhat Thanh, Chairman of the TVU Grassroot Trade Union; Ms. Quach Thi Vu Hue, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the TVU Party Committee; and representatives from other departments of the university.
The house is situated on the land owned by Ms. Trang’s family in sub-village 1, Cang Long townlet, Cang Long district, Tra Vinh province. The total cost of building it is 240 million VND, of which 50 million VND is covered by the government and the rest is paid by the family.
Mr. Nguyen Nhat Thanh congratulates Ms. Thach Huynh Thi Thu Trang as he presents her with the “Trade Union Shelter” handover decision at the ceremony. He claims that the “Trade Union Shelter” is a meaningful program that upholds significant humanistic values, fosters solidarity, and aids union members who are facing difficult living situations. Additionally, he expects that the program will be carried out more successfully to enhance the housing conditions of union members and lessen some of their burdens.
Ms. Thach Huynh Thi Thu Trang expresses her gratitude to the Labor Confederation of Tra Vinh Province, the Party Committee, Board of Directors, and Grassroot Trade Union of Tra Vinh University for offering partial financial assistance to help her family purchase their dream home. She also makes a commitment to put in more effort in the future to better her family’s living circumstances and always devotes her best to accomplishing her responsibilities at work.
