Health care for students


TVU – A talk show on “Distinction, causes, and prevention of hypoglycemia and hypocalcemia” was held at Tra Vinh University in the morning of April 5 with the consultation of Doctor Son Huyen Vu, a Second Degree Specialist from the Tra Vinh University Hospital.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector of the university, and Second Degree Specialist Son Huyen Vu, Director of Tra Vinh University Hospital. More than 200 students and lecturers from various units also participated.

On this occasion, Dr. Thach Thi Dan stressed the importance of health for everyone, especially students. Students must be in good physical condition to engage in activities, studies, and work. The purpose of the talk show was to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to be healthy while studying away from home.


During the seminar, Doctor Son Huyen Vu provided knowledge about the symptoms, causes, and complications of hypoglycemia and hypocalcemia, as well as some tips on how to treat and avoid these disorders. To reduce the effect of the conditions on students, the doctor also recommended easy daily routines such as exercising, eating healthy, and maintaining a comfortable and optimistic mindset.

Students took part in asking questions during the event and got direct responses from the doctor. The activity was conducted in a friendly and engaging way, which helped the students learn valuable information and acquire important skills.
