Tra Vinh University partnered with Kim Do Pharmaceutical Company on April 17, 2025, to hold a reproductive health seminar titled “Caring for Reproductive Health Today for a Happier Tomorrow,” drawing a large number of students from various colleges.ย

The seminar featured Dr. Le Quang Thanh, Vice President of the Vietnam Obstetrics and Gynecology Association, President of the Maternal and Fetal Medicine Association, and former Director of Tu Du Hospital, and Ms. Phan Thi Diem Ha, Product Manager at Kim Do Pharmaceutical Company. Tra Vinh University was represented by Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector, Ms. Tran Thi Cuc, Head of the Department of Student Affairs, and other university officials.
Dr. Thach Thi Dan highlighted the increasing need for reproductive health education, noting the early age of sexual activity among young people and a lack of awareness regarding proper care. Therefore, the seminar aimed to improve students’ knowledge and skills in preventing sexually transmitted infections and promoting self-care.
At the consultation session, Dr. Le Quang Thanh directly shared in-depth knowledge about reproductive health, prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, safe contraceptive methods, and comprehensive sexual health care. He emphasized the importance of learning about safe sex practices, reproductive health, and contraception for personal well-being.
Besides the consultation session, the event also included mini games and Q&A sessions with attractive prizes, generating enthusiastic student participation. The students actively participated in the activities, asking questions, sharing their practical concerns, and receiving enthusiastic answers from experts.
Kim Do Pharmaceutical Company also presented information on various contraceptive products and their correct usage.
The seminar concluded successfully, thanks to the valuable contributions of Dr. Le Quang Thanh and the enthusiastic participation of the students. Tra Vinh University presented certificates of appreciation and gifts to the speakers, recognizing their positive contributions to health education for students.
