Tra Vinh University welcomed the Honda UNI TOUR 2025 – “Unleash the True Vietnamese Spirit” – on May 17th as the nationwide tour made its second stop among 25 universities across Vietnam. The Vietnam Student Support and Development Center organized this event with Honda Vietnam, bringing together key representatives, including Deputy Director Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Rector Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Vice-Rectors Dr. Huynh Van Muoi Mot and Dr. Thach Thi Dan, and Honda Vietnam’s Huynh Van Nam.
Event organizers emphasized the tour’s mission to help Generation Z students express patriotism and Vietnamese identity in today’s globalized world. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh highlighted the tour’s significance as Vietnam approaches important national anniversaries, while Honda’s representative stressed the company’s commitment to supporting students’ comprehensive development. Rector Nguyen Minh Hoa thanked organizers for creating valuable opportunities for student interaction and promoting positive values.
The day featured diverse activities that attracted massive student participation, including cultural experiences, creative workshops like helmet painting and keychain making, and the Honda Uni Run 2025, promoting healthy lifestyles. Students engaged in safe driving sessions, environmental competitions, and a talent show showcasing singing and dancing performances. Ten students received 1 million VND scholarships for academic achievement, while the day concluded with an energetic concert featuring popular artists OgeNus, Dat Long Vinh, Ho Phi Nal, DJ Bling, and MC Hype Long Ka that energized thousands of attendees.
