TVU – Tra Vinh University continues to expand its global academic horizons through a dynamic lecturer exchange program, welcoming Dr. Leah Suano-Tinga and Dr. Jeff Verlit D. Arcipe from Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT), Philippines, from November 19 to November 27, 2024.
While at TVU, both lecturers have an academic sharing and cultural exchange workshop with students from the College of Economics and Law (CEL) and the College of Southern Khmer Language – Culture – Arts and Humanities (CLASKA) of TVU. The academic workshop includes organizing specialized classes, discussing educational cooperation projects, and practical experiences in the Hospitality and Restaurant Management major.
The peak in this series of activities is conducting “Diplomatic Banquet Etiquette” with students of the Faculty of Tourism – Hotel Management, CEL.
Also, students actively exchange their opinions and questions with enthusiasm. Lecturers demonstrate and conduct methods of organizing and arranging banquet tables at diplomatic events.
Besides teaching activities, PIT lecturers explore local culture and tourism in Tra Vinh, such as Ba Om Pond, Uncle Ho Temple, and Con Chim (Bird Islet), and enjoy specialities there.
Chương trình mang đến cho giảng viên những trải nghiệm học thuật và văn hóa đa dạng, nâng cao kiến thức chuyên môn và cải thiện kỹ năng giao tiếp tiếng Anh cho sinh viên, góp phần thúc đẩy mối quan hệ hợp tác quốc tế giữa hai trường và xây dựng cầu nối văn hóa giữa hai quốc gia.
