TVU – The International Summer Camp 2024, jointly organized by Samar State University and Northwest Samar State University, concludes successfully after two weeks of activities from August 11-24, 2024, in Catbalogan City and Calbayog City, Samar Province, Philippines.
Two Tra Vinh University students, Tran Nhat Anh from the 2022 Nursing program and Mai Ngoc Duyen from the 2022 Aquaculture program participate in the program. They have the opportunity to engage in cultural exchanges and academic discussions with students from Samar State University (SSU – Philippines), Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU – Philippines), and Brawijaya University (UB – Indonesia).
The students experience a variety of exciting activities related to cuisine, culture, and art, along with academic and language exchanges through discussions, traditional games, Waray language classes, and performances. They also visit numerous scenic spots and historical sites in the Philippines. The students are highly praised for their positive spirit, dynamism, and enthusiasm throughout the program. These qualities are considered crucial in developing essential skills for students studying in an international environment.
The International Summer Camp 2024 in the Philippines is part of the cooperation framework between Tra Vinh University and Samar State University. The program allows students to study in a global, multicultural educational environment, bringing valuable experiences for their personal and academic growth.
