Japanese enterprise delegation visits Tra Vinh University

(TVU) – In late February, Mr. Hiramastu Shuichi, Head of Suechou town, Fukuoka province, Japan and the enterprise delegation had a working visit to Tra Vinh University (TVU). TVU Vice-Rector Vo Hoang Khai and Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Binh, Chairwoman of Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association-Tra Vinh province attended this meeting.

At the start of the meeting, TVU Vice-Rector Vo Hoang Khai gave a brief summary of collaborative activities between TVU and Japanese enterprises. He said: “During recent years, the relationship between TVU and Japanese companies is more and more strengthened through collaborations in research and student exchange.”

At the meeting, the two parties had a deep discussion about upcoming collaborative activities and preferential policies when TVU students work and study in Japan.

Mr. Hiramastu Shuichi informed that Japan is requiring high demand of human resources in some core areas including nursing, automobile-technology, IT and food processing. He added that: “TVU students are highly evaluated by their expertise and social skills, which all help foster the two sides’ collaboration in the future”.

The delegation also had a meeting with over 200 TVU students to provide them useful information and benefits about internship program in Japan.
