Tra Vinh University (TVU) hosted its annual Job Fair on April 21, 2024, a resounding success that connected nearly 20 businesses with over 3,000 participating students and alumni. This event bridged the gap between employers seeking qualified personnel and students eager to launch their careers.

 

2,000 diverse job opportunities:
The participating companies offered 2,000 job positions across various industries, including Banking, Logistics – E-commerce, Manufacturing, Consulting and Education, Accounting & Auditing, Agriculture, Languages, and more.

Renowned Companies seek top talent:
The Job Fair attracted prominent regional and national companies like Thaco Agri Agricultural Joint Stock Company, Duyen Hai Tra Vinh Thermal Power Company, Vietinbank – Tra Vinh, Sacombank – Tra Vinh, ISM Labor Cooperation and Trading Co., Ltd., Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) – Tra Vinh, C.P. Vietnam Livestock Corporation, IGC Education Group, MIF – Sao Mai Group.

The Job Fair offered a comprehensive platform for students

Networking events: Students interacted with companies, fostering valuable connections.
Study and work abroad talks: Informative sessions explored global career options.
Signing ceremonies: TVU formalized partnerships with businesses, strengthening collaboration.

Dr Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, highlighted the event’s significance: “The Job Fair bridges the gap between businesses and qualified talent. It empowers students and job seekers to find suitable positions aligned with their skills and aspirations.”

Companies also expressed their satisfaction. Mr. Do The Trinh, HR Director of THACO AGRI, lauded TVU graduates’ work ethic and praised the collaborative results. Mr. Pham Dien Trung, Deputy General Director of IGC Education Group, emphasized the mutual benefits and potential for deeper future partnerships.

Le Quoc Hoa, a final-year English Language student, shared his experience: “The Job Fair provided invaluable access to potential employers. I gained insights into job requirements, preparing me for a smooth transition into the workforce.”
