(TVU) – From January 9 to 11, 2024, lecturers and students from Seojeong University (SJU) in Korea participate in a cultural exchange trip with the pupils of the Lab School and students of Tra Vinh University, with the theme of “Global Citizenship Education” at Tra Vinh University and primary schools in Tra Vinh province.
The Global Citizenship Education (GCED) program is a collaboration between Tra Vinh University and Seojeong University. Over 30 students participated in this event, including 16 students from Seojeong University, Korea, and students from the Lab School (Tra Vinh University).
The purpose of the program is to increase understanding and awareness among students in Tra Vinh province about global issues related to society, economics, people, environment, etc.
Activities from January 9 to 11 include exchanges with students of Tra Vinh University, primary school students of the Lab School, integrating knowledge about sustainable development goals through board games, experiencing Korean culture, Vietnam-Korea cultural exchanges, exhibition football matches with TVU students and Chenla University students from Cambodia, and more.
