In the afternoon of September 29, 2011, at Main Office of TVU, Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh-Rector of TVU, President of Vietnam Association of Community Colleges (VACC) had a warm meeting with Mr. Wojtek Winnicki- Vice General Director of La Commission Scolaire Marguerite- Bourgeoys (abbreviated as La CSMB) and the delegation. At the meeting, there were also Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung- Vice Rector of TVU and other relevant heads of TVU’s offices. On this occasion, the two Parties signed an MOU for further cooperation between the two organizations.
At the meeting, TVU introduced about its human resource, students, training majors. Also, La CSMB talked about the programs which they provide such as training projects and transfer of knowledge related to vocational training, management support small and medium business, students and staff selection process. These programs will bring many learning opportunities for students and teachers of VACC’s members.
After the signing ceremony, the delegation of La CSMB along with TVU’s leaders had a visit at My Lan Group in Tra Vinh Industrial Zone. The delegation met and discussed with TVU students who are studying the Co-op program practicing and working at the company. The delegation also visited working and producing places of the company.
The visit to TVU helped La CSMB understand more about VACC and Mr. Wojtek Winnicki was really pleased about the working results. The success of the meeting will bring many opportunities for TVU and the members of VACC in the near future.
