TVU – In the morning on May 15, 2015, Madam Nuala O’Brien, Deputy Ambassador of Ireland to Vietnam and the delegation paid a visit to TVU. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, TVU Rector warmly welcomed the delegation.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh expressed his pleasure to receive the Deputy Ambassador and representatives. A considerate discussion focused on projects of technical transfer and economic development was the meeting’s theme.
Madam Nuala O’Brien, Deputy Ambassador expressed her gratitude for the hospitality. “We are very pleased to witness the community model at TVU”, said the Deputy Ambassador.
Dr. Colman Ross, PRPP Senior Technical Specialist paid special attention to Gender and Community Department of TVU. “ We are happy to offer technical support to projects on gender”, he said.
On this occasion, the Deputy Ambassador provided a brief introduction about the scholarship program of Government of Ireland. The Government donates 30 sholarships for master program to candidates of Vietnam annually. Madam Nuala O’Brien hopes TVU lecturers and staff to be eligible for the scholarship program.
