(TVU) – On the evening of September 27, the Tra Vinh University Trade Union organized the Mid-Autumn Festival program entitled “Happy Mid-Autumn for Children” in 2023 at Lecture Hall D5, Campus 1, Tra Vinh University.
Attending the program were Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice-Rector of TVU; Mr. Nguyen Nhat Thanh, Member of the Provincial Trade Union Executive Committee, Chairman of Tra Vinh University’s Trade Union, along with over 900 staff members and children.
In her congratulatory speech, Dr. Thach Thi Dan, said: The mid-autumn festival program for children provides a healthy and meaningful playground for children on the mid-autumn festival annually. It is an opportunity for children to interact, learn from each other, demonstrating the deep care of the Party Committee, the Board of Management and the trade union organizations in the university towards children of officials and lecturers.
Vice-Rector Thach Thi Dan hoped that the children would continue to study hard, make efforts, and train better according to Uncle Ho’s five teachings to become useful citizens, contributing to building a richer, stronger and more developed homeland.
At the program, children enjoyed and participated in art performances with singing, lion dancing, aerobics, folk games, enacting the characters Cuoi and Hang, creating a cheerful and warm atmosphere.
On this occasion, Tra Vinh University’s Trade Union presented over 900 gifts for children to enjoy in Mid-Autumn.
