(TVU) – Tra Vinh University hosts a delegation from Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine on September 27 for a collaborative session focused on improving training quality and testing methods, particularly in the context of rapid digital transformation.
Dr. Phan Nguyen Thanh Van, Vice-Rector of the Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, leads the visiting delegation; MSc. Dr. Nguyen Dung Tuan, Head of the Testing Department; Dr. Ho Nguyen Anh Tuan, Head of the Training Management Department; and Dr. Tran Tien Tai, Deputy Head of the Testing Department, join the visit.
Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University, welcomes the guests alongside representatives from various university units, including the Institute of Resource Development, Training Department, Testing Department, Information Technology Department, School of Medicine and Pharmacy, and the Center for Teaching and Learning Development.
During the meeting, Dr. Phan Nguyen Thanh Van emphasizes the crucial role of online training as an inevitable trend in modern education. She notes that online training is not just a trend but a necessary solution to meet growing student learning needs. She adds that technology in teaching helps increase interaction and creates learning opportunities for all, regardless of space and time constraints.
The two universities engage in discussions on training and testing methodologies, with a particular focus on:
- Applying technology and digital transformation in education
- Implementing learning management systems
- Sharing experiences in online teaching activities
- Exploring appropriate teaching and assessment models for online learning platforms
This collaborative session marks an important step in both institutions’ efforts to adapt to the changing landscape of higher education in the digital age.
