(TVU)-On 27 February, TVU Vice Rector Tran Van Trong had a meeting with Mr. Hieu Tom Bui, Director of Vietnam Development and Support in Ottawa – Canada about supporting TVU students’ start-up initiatives.
At the meeting, Mr. Hieu Tom Bui highly evaluated the business ideas of TVU students, especially which are associated with gender equality, and hoped that they will be soon carried out in Tra Vinh province.
Mr. Ly Dinh Quan, project management committee representative of Tra Vinh small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) gave an overview of entrepreneurial issues in Tra Vinh province and stressed a number of necessary elements to the success of the start-up initiative models. He said: “Starting up a business requires close connection with individuals and international collaboration, as well as flexibility and creativity.” He also informed that SMEs will build a communication network with the aim of improving the entrepreneurship ecosystem of the province.
TVU Vice Rector Tran Van Trong said that TVU always stresses the importance of its students’ start-up activities and offers favourable conditions to them. He thanked the delegation’s working visit and hoped to receive more support in these start-up activities.
