TVU – On March 30th, Tra Vinh University organizes on-site visits to experience the operating procedures and cold storage management within the logistics system and supply chain management for over 90 students of the Logistics Service Management classes at the cold storage facilities of AJ Total Vietnam Company and Long An International Port.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Thuy Loan, Head of the Logistics Department, School of Economics and Law (Tra Vinh University), said: The experiential activity builds a close relationship between the university and businesses, helping students understand the working environment and equipping them with the necessary knowledge to adapt to modern business management, thereby contributing to improving training quality and developing a logistics workforce to meet the recruitment needs of businesses.
On this occasion, students observe and listen to introductions about the technology, warehouse management procedures, and experience sharing on cold storage management, warehouse storage systems, and procedures for classifying cold goods at the cold storage facilities of AJ Total Vietnam Company. They also learn about Long An International Port’s port service complex, auxiliary works, and multi-functional port logistics solutions.
In addition, representatives from the leadership of AJ Total Vietnam Company and Long An International Port introduce the companies’ development process, mission, vision, corporate culture, human resources, facilities, products, services, operating networks, advanced technologies applied, and partners.

Nguyen Minh Khoi, a Logistics Service Management 2022 student, expressed: “Through this activity, we gain a practical understanding of the operations and activities related to the logistics field, learning valuable practical knowledge to meet the recruitment needs of businesses after graduation.”
AJ Total Vietnam Company is a part of the AJ Group, headquartered in South Korea, and specializes in cold storage services, cold transportation, distribution centers, etc. Currently, the company has three branches, including one at Long Hau Industrial Park (Long An Province) with a capacity of up to 31,000 pallets, which was put into operation in July 2021; a second branch at Pho Noi A Industrial Park (Hung Yen) with a capacity of up to 23,000 pallets, which was put into operation in May 2022; and a planned third branch in Dong Nai Province.
| The Logistics and Supply Chain Management program at Tra Vinh University offers two training models: The Co-op model is a cooperative training program with enterprises, where students undertake internships at companies as trainee employees. The co-op model, which has integrated international certification, is a collaborative training program for enterprises. It includes the FIATA Diploma in International Freight Management, an internationally recognized certification awarded by FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations) headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.
