On the morning of August 09, nearly 8,000 candidates in Tra Vinh province officially enter the High School Graduation Exam 2020. Accompanying the candidates was the image of volunteer blue shirts. TVU students present and eagerly stay to support candidates during the exam. In each exam area, about 30-40 students are volunteering to support the contestants.
To energize the candidates, the TVU Youth Union has established 22 volunteer teams with nearly 700 volunteers, supporting at 22 test areas across the province.
Especially, in this year’s high school graduation exam, the TVU Communist Youth Union and the TVU Student Association have mobilized more than 10 thousand bottles of mineral water, cakes, free meals, necessary supplies for Candidates participating in the exam. Also, the motorbike team is ready to bring candidates with a high sense of responsibility when required. On the other hand, the test area in Tra Cu district was active with the distribution of vegetarian noodles and free vegetarian sandwiches to candidates.
“When I come here, see some students who are dedicated to guiding, I feel more secure. Receiving bottles of mineral water from TVU students somewhat removed the stress to help us feel more comfortable when taking the test” – Nguyen Ngoc Trieu, the candidate of Duong Quang Dong High School, Cau Ngang district said.
The 2020 high school graduation exam takes place in 03 days from August 8 to August 10, 2020. Most of the candidates arrived at the test area early with a relaxed and confident mentality. Candidates and examination staff equip themselves with a mask when arriving and have their temperature measured, hand sanitizer sprayed before entering the exam area to ensure safety in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.
