Scholarship ceremony supports students at Tra Vinh University’s School of Engineering and Technology (June 20, 2025)

(TVU) – On the afternoon of June 20, 2025, EDSON International Co., Ltd. and INKPHUN Co., Ltd. awarded 16 scholarships to Chemical Engineering Technology students at the C5 building of Tra Vinh University with a total value of 32 million VND.

Representatives from the companies attending the ceremony include Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang – Head of Research and Development Department at EDSON International Co., Ltd.; Ms. Kulkoruphat Nantachaiwut – Technical Manager at EDSON International Co., Ltd.; Mr. Dennis Meidiane Lasmono – Printing Ink Chemistry Expert at EDSON International Co., Ltd.; Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Huyen – Director of INKPHUN Co., Ltd., along with other delegation members.

The university welcomes the delegation with the presence of Dr. Huynh Tan Thanh – Vice Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology; Dr. Nguyen Thien Thao – Deputy Head of Chemical Engineering Department; representatives from departments of the School of Engineering and Technology together with 16 students majoring in Chemical Engineering Technology from the Chemical Engineering Department, School of Engineering and Technology, Tra Vinh University.

In his welcome speech, Dr. Huynh Tan Thanh, Vice Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology, thanks the companies for awarding scholarships to support the school’s students. This represents significant sharing and encouragement while contributing to creating a stepping stone that helps students gain additional motivation to strive in their studies. He also takes this opportunity to express his desire to upgrade comprehensive cooperation strategies and sign long-term cooperation agreements to create more internship opportunities and job opportunities for students.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang, Representative of EDSON Co., Ltd., shares practical experience about the industry. The scholarships serve as small support sent to students who overcome difficulties and achieve high academic performance, creating motivation to help them advance in their studies. This marks the second year the company sponsors scholarships for the university’s students. Company representative Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang expresses his desire to continue accompanying scholarship programs for the university’s students in the following years.

Student Duong Hoang Nhat Thao, a chemical engineering technology major in the class of 2024, represents the 16 scholarship recipients and sends sincere, deep gratitude to the sponsoring companies. She promises to continue striving, training, and cultivating knowledge to achieve the best results in upcoming studies and internships.
